First half
CAFC started off bright, and not just in their away kit, creating chances and limiting JET2 to half-chances.
CAFC were awarded a penalty when Jamie Goncalves cut into the area and was body-checked.
Jordan Coles stepped up but saw his spot-kick saved by the Jet 2 keeper.
JET2 sprung into life, with a spell of dominance that saw them open up CAFC a number of times and convert three of their chances.
Half-time score: CAFC 0-3 JET2 All-Stars
Second half
After a dressing down at half-time, and a kit change, CAFC came out with the intention of getting themselves back into the game.
A pin-point accurate cross from Tom Wilson found Jamie Goncalves at the back post, who calmly headed home.
With most of the second half to play, CAFC pushed to reduce the gap and made some great chances, only to be denied by some brilliant saves from the Jet 2 goalkeeper.
CAFC did manage to net twice late on… but unfortunately, it was in their own goal. With the score at 5-1, CAFC pushed for what would be another consolation goal and found it through Richard Eyes, who latched on to a through ball and slotted nicely into the corner of JET2’s goal.
Final score: CAFC 2-5 JET2 All-Stars
