Not our day, but always a good game against our friends from Calm 84 FC Crewe.

 

First-half

A positive start saw us go 1-0 up early on in the game, thanks to a well-struck goal from Josh. We had the chance to make it 2-0 with a couple of chances, but they were hit over the bar and wide. Calm 84 FC took advantage of our missed chances, by equalising and then adding another goal shortly after to go ahead 2-1.

We thought Marco had brought us level with a fine finish before half-time, only for it to be ruled out for offside by the referee, Alex Trainor.

Second-half

We started the second-half brightly, stringing a few passes together but were limited to one shot, which was saved brilliantly by the Calm 84 FC keeper.

Another quick-fire double put Calm 84 FC 4-1 up, leaving us with a mountain to climb. However, there was still time for Marco to score his usual goal, keeping his scoring record to at least 1 (normally a hat-trick) goal in every game he plays.
